From the M1 – North and South
Leave the M1 at J40 - A638. Follow the Dewsbury signs, it is approx 3
miles from the M1.
At the bottom of the hill entering Dewsbury centre the A638 becomes a dual
carriageway ring road - go straight ahead.
After approx 300m there are 2 right turns at traffic lights, the first to
Batley and Bradford, the second is the A638 to Halifax - carry straight on
the ring road.
Our office is 50m on the left after the A638 lights, looking across the
ring road and behind a private car park - it's a blue door. (The door opens
outwards)
The best place to park is the station car park, another 100m ahead on the
right.
From The M62 (West)
Leave the M62 at J25, the A644 for Brighouse and Dewsbury.
Follow the A644 towards Dewsbury, after almost 1 mile you will reach the A62
- at a traffic light controlled roundabout. Make sure you are in the left
hand lane here to take the A62 towards Leeds (sort of straight on) As soon
as you are through the roundabout get in the right hand lane to take the
left fork on the A644 towards Mirfield and Dewsbury.
Follow this road through Mirfield and Ravensthorpe for 3 to 4 miles, the
road opens out to a dual carriageway as you approach Dewsbury. It drops down
and goes under the railway line, at the traffic lights immediately after the
railway bridge turn left and park in the railway station car park which is
on the left after about 150m.
If you stand with your back to the station we are about 100m across the road
and to the left - cross the road at the pedestrian lights, turn left, cross
the top of 2 streets and Walter Dawson's Accountants is in front of you. Our
door is in that building next to the paring meter and facing across at the
ring road and the small private car park. The door opens outwards so don't
be pushing it and thinking you are locked out.
