Changing facilities
Changing will be in the Yacht Club. The bar will also be open for the use of athletes and spectators and will be serving tea, coffee and other refreshments. Toilets will be available at the Historic Quay, the Wingfield Castle, the Yacht Club and at the start.
RegistrationRegistration will be at the Historic Quay from 10.30am. Please ensure that the numbers for your club are collected by one designated person – preferably the Team manager, who should then distribute the numbers amongst the club athletes. Please ensure that the correct numbers are distributed to each of your athletes.
PresentationIt is anticipated that presentations will be made on the promenade, however in case of poor weather presentations will be made at the Yacht Club as soon as results are available after the event.
On Course
Please use the designated warm-up area NOT the course as the whole of the promenade will be in use during the race. Athletes are requested to keep to the left of the course during their relay leg.. Please be aware that the promenade is open to the public and athletes should be aware of other users. Marshals will be patrolling the course throughout the event to ensure the safety of athletes and members of the public.

The Yorkshire Road Relays for this year only, because of the unavailability of suitable dates & venue, will be held in conjunction with the Northern Athletics Championships. Senior Mens and Womens events will be held on Saturday 27th September 2008 at Hartlepool. The u13, u15 and u17 relays will be held at Croxteth Park, Liverpool on 5th October 2008. All clubs entering the Northern event with athletes eligible for Yorkshire, will be entered into the Yorkshire Championships free of charge
