Rob Cameron

Rob Cameron

I have been involved in the sport since 1976 as an athlete, coach, official, team manager and Sports Development Officer. I competed on the international stage as a school boy, junior and senior international, including the World Cross Country Championships in Rome '82 and Gateshead '83. I have links to Falkirk Victoria Harriers, Newham and Essex Beagles, Bridgend AC and Leeds City AC. I began team managing for the North ten years ago.  Working for Northern Athletics is great and I find it very rewarding. I particularly enjoy supporting the athletes by drawing on my own broad experiences. More practically, I assist with the travel arrangements, race preparation, bag carrying and provide encouragement. I know that we have some cracking athletes and I look forward to seeing you in a Northern vest soon.
